Game Addiction

I read a website about video game addiction moments ago and it's more likely for a college student to be addicted than a pre-teen or teen. College students love to play Xbox Live than something more like a play station 2. Liz Wooley made 'Online Gamers Anonymous' because her son was addicted to 'Ever Quest', a popular online role-playing game and ended up committing suicide in front of his computer screen at the age of 21 but for most college students, their addiction isn't as bad. For Xbox Live is able to let students bond over games and get a gaming fit with out doing many things. A solution to the addiction is wasting time.In the last paragraph it states "If a student is not introduced to video games until later in life, then he is more likely to have already devoted his time to other interests and will able to develop a healthy attitude towards gaming" This ties in with my friends because some of my friends are video gamers and sometimes on beautiful days they stay in and glue their faces to the computer screen or t.v. screen.

  1. How does this tie into your "community" of "friends"? Who could benefit from reading the site?
