During periods 2 and 3

Today, The freshmen had a assembly with the speaker Eddie Slowikowski. From my point of view i thought he was a GREAT speaker and VERY good entertainer, he put learning to a whole new level with laughter, excitement, dancing, and music. Everyone was having a great time. While the day before, me and my friend were saying "oh this is going to soooo boring." once we got into the auditorium, we hear great, fun music playing and once he started to talk about a quote, I thought my prediction was true, but in a matter of fact, I was VERY wrong. He got everyone to dance and have a great time, and also motivated many of the students to be your self and have fun but also realize that life isn't always going to be easy. He's cool. [:

What would happen if the idea of communism wasn't invented?

In the book, Animal Farm, the old boar was stated as Karl Marx, the man who invented the idea of communism, and I was thinking to myself saying "What would have happen in the world if Karl Marx haven't invented the idea of communism?" My prediction was that the world would be in more wars than it is already, everyone would fighting over land, materials and etc.. and the old boar was basically saying not to listen to any human being such as the farmer and in my opinion I think the boar was being a bit to extreme with the communism, he really doesn't know what will happen in the future, and it could be bad.

What holds the most power in my life?

One thing that has power over me in my life is 'Becoming a fan' of pages on Facebook. Whenever, I get on Facebook I look on the status updates all I see is _____ became a fan of __________. And I say "Ohh i relate to that everyday or i love that!"After, you clean your fish tank and feed your fish on Fishville or fertilized your crops on Farmville, then your pretty much bummed because then you don't have much to do and since every status update is friends becoming a fan of many things, you just go down the page reading '_____________' and obviously your going to agree with the title and click 'become a fan'. Even though, I could spend hours a day becoming a fan of every page i think or do relate to but i don't.

What is Swine Flu??

Swine flu is common throughout pig populations worldwide. Transmission of the virus from pigs to humans is not common and does not always lead to human influenza, often resulting only in the production of antibodies in the blood. If transmission does cause human influenza, it is called zoonotic swine flu. People with regular exposure to pigs are at increased risk of swine flu infection. The meat of an infected animal poses no risk of infection when properly cooked. Source

What are some disorders/diseases that are common for teens?

It has been a result that nearly two thirds of boys and nearly three quarters of girls have at least have one psychiatric disorder. 2o percent of teens have a major depressive disorders. Most teens have an anxiety disorder caused by school, moving or a loss of a parent. Bipolar is another disorder a teen could possibly get. Eating disorders are common between teenage females because someone told them they're fat or they want to be like everyone else. I said just be yourself, I honestly don't care what everyone thinks of me, but sometime i do have my moments and worry about things like that but thats natural to worry sometimes.
